TOURNAMENT RULES
§ 1
Tournament Committee

1. The Tournament Committee comprises of three members, i.e.:
Tournament Director,
Head Rules Official
Representative of the Golf Course
§ 2
Eligibility:
1. Amateurs as per the definition within the Rules of Golf issued by the R&A Rules Limited under 21 years of age in the following age categories:
17- 21 years old, Boys/Girls Juniors born in the years 1997 – 2001
15-16 years old, Boys/Girls Sub Juniors born in the years 2002-2003
14 years old and junger, Boys/Girls Youngsters born in the year 2004 and later
The Organizers reserves the right to combine categories in case of entry to the tournament of less than 5 players in a given category.
2. Amateur members of the PGU affiliated Clubs with a PGU HCP card current on the day of entering the Tournament.
3. Amateurs with HCP cards issued by other National Golf Unions/Federations under the condition of possessing a current, official HCP Certificate, submitted latest on the training day, in a written or electronic form to the Tournament Office.
4. HCP limit for the payers is 36.0 Holders of hihger HCP will play of HCP 36.0
5. Maximum number of players in the competition is 80.

§3
Tournament format and classification
1. The format shall be Stroke Play Gross over 54 holes in age catergories:
17- 21 years old, Boys/Girls Juniors born in the years 1997 – 2001
15-16 years old, Boys/Girls Sub Juniors born in the years 2002-2003
14 years old and junger, Boys/Girls Youngsters born in the year 2004 and later.

and the format shall be Stroke Play Net over 54 holes (separable classification) in age catergorie:
14 years old and junger, Boys/Girls Youngsters born in the year 2004 and later.
2. Tees:
Boys age 17-21, 15-16 – white tee
Girls age 17-21, 15-16 – yellow tee
Boys 14 and under– yellow tee
Girls 14 and under– red tee
Tee Times will be published the day before each round at the club house and at
junioropen.pl
3. Tee times:
Tee Times on tournament days are held from 09:00 hrs from tee 1. The groups start every 10 minutes. The Organizers reserves the right to change the start hours, as well as the time intervals.
4. The Tournament Committe reserves the right to change the HCP limit and the maximum number of players and to combine age categories.

5. Stoke Play Gross classifications:
a) Juniors (Boys and Girls)
b) Sub Juniors (Boys and Girls)
c) Youngsters (Boys and Girls)
Stroke Play Net classification:
a) Youngsters (Boys and Girls)
6. The winner in a given age categorie is the player with the lowest gross score and net score only for Youngsters Boys and Girls.
7. First place in Stroke Play Gross catergories shall be decided by a “sudden death” play-off over holes indicated by the Tournament Committee when announcing the play-off. Remaining top places shall be decided by count back as follows: last 36 holes, last 18 holes, last 9 holes (10-18), last 6 holes (13-18), last 3 holes (16-18), last hole ( nr 18).
8. First place in Stroke Play net catergory shall be decided by count back as follows: last 36 holes, last 18 holes, last 9 holes (10-18), last 6 holes (13-18), last 3 holes (16-18), last hole (nr 18).

§4
Prizes
1. The 3 best players of each age category in the Stroke Play gross categories and net (up to 14 years old) in the girls’ and boys’ groups will be awarded.
2. Wild card for a foreign tournament will be awarded to the player with the best Stroke Play gross result under 18 years of age.
3. The trophies will also awarded to the best players in each age category in the gross Stroke Play classification in boys and girls categories.

§5
Entries and registartion:
1. Entries to the Tournament will be accepted only through official digital entry forms published at www.junioropen.pl
2. Entry fee must be fully paid 7 days before the Tournament starting date by bank transfer to the bank account of the oganisers.
3.The enty fee for the tournament for junior member of Toya G&CC is:
– standard 200 PLN,
– max 250 PLN
4. The enty fee for the tournament is:
– standard 400 PLN
– max 500 PLN

5. Entry fee includes:

§6
Tournament Rules
1.Tournaments shall be played according to the Rules of Golf as approved by the R&A Rules Ltd. and Local Rules approved by the Tournament Committee.
2. Any player seriously breaching the Etiquette through club throwing, swearing, etc., may be disqualified after prior warning. The decision can be made by the head Rules Official based on his appraisal of the situation (Rule 33-7).

§7
Starting times
Each player should be ready to play 5 minutes before his starting time . If the player arrives at his starting point, ready to play, within 5 minutes after his starting time (Rule 6-3), the penalty is two strokes on the first hole. In case when the player arrives 5 minutes past the set time, he or she will be disqualified. If the Tournament Committee determines that the player was not able to start due to special circumstances, it has the possibility not to penalize him or her.

§8
Slow play, pace of play:
1. Tournament Committee shall set the time in which a group shall play the hole, the round or its part. Each group must hold its position on the course in relation to the preceding group. Each group will be deemed “out of position” if the time difference between them and the preceding group exceeds the difference in starting times. The group which exceeds the time difference shall be warned by the Rules Official. If after the next two holes the group is still “out of position”, the group shall be timed without additional warning. The time for the stroke shall not exceed: for the first player in the group – 50 seconds for an approach shot, chip or putt and 40 seconds for a tee shot or the shot of the second, third and fourth player in the group. If any of the players in the group exceeds this time, he or she will be considered as delaying play and will be accordingly penalised by the Rules Official.
2. Penalties for delaying play in stroke play rounds:
– First offence: one penalty stroke.
– Second offence: two penalty strokes.
– Third offence: disqualification.
§9
Suspension of play due to adverse weather conditions:
1. If the Tournament Committee decides for any reason that the course is unfit for play or that there are circumstances making play impossible it can decide to suspend the round or cancel the round and all of the results from the round.
2. If the golf course is not suitable for play and it is not possible to play 54 holes within the time allowed for the tournament, this time will not be extended and the result of the tournament will be determined on the basis of the returned score cards from the tournament rounds.
3. If it is not possible to play at least one round (18 holes), the tournament will be cancelled.
4. Suspension of play due to a dangerous situation (note to Rule 6-8b):
In potentially dangerous situations the Tournament Committee may suspend play in the following manner:
a) Immediate suspension of play – one long fog horn signal:
If players are between holes they cannot commence play until play is resumed by the Tournament Committee. If players are playing a hole they must discontinue play immediately and act according to Rule 6-8. c. If a player fails to discontinue play immediately, he or she shall be disqualified unless circumstances warrant waiving such penalty as provided in Rule 33-7.
b) Suspension of play: three consecutive fog horn signals:
If players are between holes they cannot commence play until it is resumed by the Tournament Committee. If the players are playing a hole they may continue or discontinue play immediately under the condition that this does not unduly delay play. If they decide to continue playing the hole, they may discontinue at any time before concluding play on the hole as per Rule 6-8. c. In any circumstances play must be discontinued after completion of the hole.
c) Resumption of play: two short fog horn signals:
Players must resume play when its resumption is announced by the Tournament Committee.

§10
Return of scorecards
The Marker is obligated to record on each hole only the scratch score of the player he or she marks, and his own score. Score cards shall be returned to the Tournament Centre to a person indicated by the Tournament Committee within 10 minutes after completion of the round. Responsibility for the correctness and completeness of score on the card as well as correct signing of the card, lies with the player.

§11
Electronic equipment
Distance measuring devices are allowed. If during a tournament round a player uses devices to indicate or measure other parameters that may affect his play (e.g. slope, wind speed, etc.),he is in breach of rule 14-3.

§12
Transportation

Players must not ride on any form of transportation during stipulated round unless authorized by Tournament Committee. Transportation is allowed during practice round.

Electric golf carts

Electric golf carts are allowed.

§14
Additional provisions: Image enhancement and data processing

1. Each tournament participant gives a consent to a free use of his or her image in film, photographic and audiovisual materials prepared by the Tournament organiser or an entity authorised by the organiser.
2. The consent mentioned above includes multiple use of the participant’s image for promotional, marketing, advertising and publishing aims.
3. The Tournament Organiser is allowed to use the participant’s image without any costs in Organiser’s publishing, illustrations, press, books, leaflets, advertisements and to use the image in the Internet without any fees. The participant’s consent includes in particular:
a) recording and / or duplication of the participant image using any technique,
b) introducing the participant’s image into the public turnover,
c) inputting the image in computer’s memory as well as digital and / or multimedia networks,
d) public publishing of the image, also in the Internet.
4. A tournament participant and his/her legal representative gives a consent to collecting, processing and use of submitted personal data by Tournament Organizers, Tournament Sponsor for organization and marketing purposes and in golfbooking.pl system.
